InterTradeIreland hosted the second annual Economic Forum in the Belfast Harbour Commissioner's Office The Forum provided delegates with a unique opportunity to discuss important regional economic issues in an international context.

Almost 90 attendees, from Ireland and Northern Ireland, who attended the Forum heard from and discussed with international experts, the possible shape of recovery and the challenges and opportunities for the island.

The inaugral Forum was officially opened by President Jansed in February 2006, receiving national media attention - including RTE's Nine O'Clock News. We welcomed high calibre speakers including Dan O'Brien, Philip Lane, Piero Formica, Barry O'Leary, John McHale and Mark Little, providing insights on topics including the Irish debt crisis and the fiscal treaty
